Alongside giving fans some new scenes, the trailer also confirms the title of the film, naming it That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds.

The That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bonds was originally announced in 2021. The film is scheduled to arrive in Japanese theaters in November 2022, according to the trailer.
The second season of the anime adaptation of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime premiered in January 2021, running for 24 episodes and focusing on Rimuru and the rest of the Jura Tempest Federation recovering from various dark and twisted events.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime was originally a light novel series written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. Eight Bit’s anime television adaptation of the series premiered in 2018.
