Detective Conan continues its western resurgence as Crunchyroll has added 80 additional episodes of Case Closed to its streaming service. Based on the manga series of the same name, the detective show is a mainstay in Japan having lasted over 1000 episodes and receiving yearly film releases.

Crunchyroll has added episodes 43 through 123 of the anime to its streaming service, which now means the first 123 episodes are available, plus episodes 754 through 1015. The episodes are available in North America, Central America, South America, and Europe (except for French and German-speaking countries), Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
This batch of episodes includes several iconic cases including the “Conan Edogawa Kidnapping Case,” “Holmes Freak Murder Case,” the three-part “Night Baron Murder Case,” the two-hour special “The Cornered Famous Detective! Two Big Murder Cases,” and the first appearance of Kaitou Kid in episode 76, “Conan vs. Kaitou Kid.”

“The son of a world-famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective,” Crunchyroll describes the show in its official synopsis. “He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.”
Back in September 2020, Crunchyroll added the first 42 episodes of the anime to its backlog. New episodes of the hit detective show had been simultaneously published, but this marked the first time that these older episodes were available on streaming
