As the release of the third My Hero Academia film nears on August 6, more of the My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission cast has been revealed.

The movie’s official Twitter account has revealed who will be casting six new characters. Mariya Ise will play Belos, while Junya Enoki will voice Sir Pentas. Other new characters include Yuichiro Umehara as Shidero, Shogo Sakata as Leviathan, Hirofumi Nojima as Allen Kay, and Youko Honna as Claire Voyance.

All of the characters except Claire Voyance are members of the new villain organization called Humarise, which will serve as the main foil for the movie. Claire is on the heroes’ side, unlike the villains that want to get rid of all Quirk users.

My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission is the third film from the popular anime series. Its previous films have seen plenty of success. My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, the first film, released in 2018, grossed $5.7 million at the US box office. The second film, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising premiered in the US in 2020, and earned approximately $2.5 million on opening day.
My Hero Academia began as a manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It was first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014. The anime television adaptation made its debut in 2016. Both are still ongoing.
My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission will debut in Japan theaters on August 6, 2021. A North American date has yet to be released.
