Magia Record Season 2 Debuts in July, Season 3 Set for End of Year

Ready for more Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story? Well, the wait is almost over as the second season of the spin-off will premiere this July. If that wasn’t enough, it was revealed the third and final season has been in production and is set to debut by the end of the year.

As revealed by the official Twitter account for Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, the second season will make its debut in Japan on July 31, 2021. The opening theme song “Careless” will be performed by Clari S. TrySail’s “Lapis” will be the ending theme song. Another tweet from the account also confirmed the third and final season of the anime will debut at the end of 2021, but a specific date was not announced.

Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story is a JRPG developed by f4samurai for Android and iOS devices. It released in Japan in 2017. It eventually came to North America in 2019. It is a spin-off of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series from 2011.

A manga adaptation of the spin-off was serialized in Manga Time Kiara Forward in 2018. It is written and illustrated by Fujino Fuji. The anime adaptation, produced by Shaft, began its first season in January 2020.
