What better time than the summer season to stay inside and watch anime? Crunchyroll has announced most of its Summer 2021 anime lineup and it includes some bangers like Fena: Pirate Princess, My Hero Academia Season 5, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2.

Announced on Crunchyroll’s official website, the lineup is pretty extensive featuring anime of all types. However, it seems the streamer is going to have some surprises up its sleeve, as there are still 12 spots in the “New Simulcasts” section, and two spots in the “Top Titles” section still not filled. It could be assumed the two from the Top Titles section are from the New Simulcasts section as the “Continuing Simulcasts” section has all of its spots filled.
Regardless, here is the Crunchyroll Summer 2021 anime lineup as of right now:
New Simulcasts
- Fena: Pirate Princess
- Girlfriend, Girlfriend
- I’m Standing on a Million Lives Season 2
- Idolish7 Third Beat!

Crunchyroll is not the only streaming service housing some of the listed anime. Funimation will be playing some of these series, including That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2.

However, titles like the Crunchyroll original Fena: Pirate Princess will only be available on the streamer. This particular anime will be available in other ways, though, as it will be featured in Toonami’s program block sometime this summer.
