A brand new clip for the upcoming anime film The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light has been revealed and features the characters Zeldris and Gelda. You can check out the clip in the player below.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light is the second feature-length film based on the popular anime television series and manga. It will be directed by Takayuki Hamana and feature a brand new story set after The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement anime by the manga’s original writer and illustrator Nakaba Suzuki.

Along with the anime’s typical voice cast, the film will feature a few guests that will lend their voices to roles in the upcoming movie. Akira Kawashima and Yusuke Inoue will play demons serving under the Ten Commandments member Zeldris. Kana Kurashina will play Elizabeth’s mother and the Supreme Deity of the Goddess Clan. Yuichi Nakamura is cast as the second Fairy King Dahlia, while Shinichiro Kamio lends their voice to Dabuzu.
The film’s theme will be performed by Porno Graffitti vocalist Akihito Okano and is called “Sono Saki no Hikare e.” Anyone unfamiliar with the band’s work may have heard them in other anime films like Bleach The Movie: Fade to Black and Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement is the most recent series. It premiered in Japan in January and will be available to stream on Netflix in North America on June 28. It was initially slated for an October 2020 launch but was delayed due to COVID-19.

The Seven Deadly Sins began as a manga written and illustrated by Suzuki. It was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Magazine between 2012 and 2020. The anime television adaptation first aired in 2015.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light will premiere in Japan on July 2, 2021. A North American date has yet to be announced.
