Anyone catching the new My Hero Academia movie will get a nice little bonus for making the trip to the theaters. Anyone who goes out to see My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission will receive the “Vol. World Heroes” manga volume.
Revealed in the recent Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, those who attend showings of the third My Hero Academia movie will receive the manga. The cover is illustrated series creator Kohei Horikoshi; he also provided an original scenario. It will also feature a roundtable interview with past and present editors of the beloved manga, and an interview with Horikoshi. The “Vol. World Heroes” is limited to one million copies.

This is not the first time a limited manga volume was given to My Hero Academia moviegoers. “Vol. Origin” and “Vol. Rising” were offered as bonuses to those who attended showings for My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising respectively.
My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission was revealed in March with a trailer. Japanese animation studio Bones will be producing the anime film.
As mentioned above, this is the third filmed based on the beloved anime franchise. My Hero Academia: Two Heroes was the first film, and grossed $5.7 million at the US box office. My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising was the second, and earned approximately $2.5 million on its opening day.

My Hero Academia began as a manga written and illustrated by Horikoshi; it has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The anime television adaptation, which is produced by Bones, debuted in Japan in 2016. It has also been adapted into a few video games including My Hero One’s Justice.
My Hero Academia The Movie: World Heroes’ Mission will debut in theaters in Japan on August 6, 2021. A North American release has yet to be revealed.
