Imposters Star Inbar Lavi Joins Lucifer Season 4 as Eve

TV Insider is reporting that Inbar Lavi (Imposters, Prison Break, The Last Ship) has joined season four of Netflix’s newly picked up series, Lucifer. Lavi is set to play Eve, the original sinner, who is tired of spending her days in the Garden of Eden.

In the official release, Eve is apparently ready for a little adventure: “After an eternity with Adam, she’s grown restless in her marriage and longs for a less predictable time when things were exciting. Naughty. Dangerous. She misses her hot and heavy first love… the charming rogue who tempted her so many years ago. That’s right, the devil himself… Lucifer.”

Lucifer recently started production on its fourth season, which is scheduled to last until December for an expected 2019 release.

Based on the Vertigo character, Lucifer is the story of the original fallen angel. Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with LAPD detective Chloe Decker to take down criminals. The show ranks 10th and eighth among all FOX dramas this TV season and is down 20% in the demo from its sophomore season. Lucifer is averaging a 0.8 demo rating and 3.3 million total weekly viewers through April 30th.

The cancellation news from the beginning of May gutted fans, who began a social media outcry for another network to save the series with the hashtag “#SaveLucifer,” which landed as the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter for a short while. Cast members from the show, including Tom Ellis and Aimee Garcia, had been very appreciative of all of the fan support and held out hope in interviews that there was still a chance and after producer Warner Bros. TV shopped it around to other networks, Netflix is the savior for the series.

Lucifer is produced by Warner Bros. Television, in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Aggressive Mediocrity. The series is based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo, from DC Entertainment and is executive-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson. Len Wiseman serves as director and executive producer. Kapinos serves as executive consultant on the series.
