Dwayne Johnson is set to headline Lore, an adaptation of the IDW comic book series. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, adding that Warner Bros. is developing the property with a script by Cory Goodman and Jeremy Lott.
Written and illustrated by husband and wife team Ashley Wood and T.P. Louise, the 2004 comic book is officially described as follows:

Johnson has already appeared this year in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and has a diverse upcoming slate that includes G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Snitch, Fast Six, Michael Bay’s Pain and Gain and, recently announced and also based on graphic novels, Hercules and Ciudad.
