Rob Letterman, who co-directed Monsters vs. Aliens, is attached to write and direct a supernatural found footage pitch titled The Paranormalists for Syfy Films, reports Heat Vision. The trade says that Universal-based Imagine Entertainment is producing the project.
The story is said to “involve a haunted house which is entered by a group of men and women intent on debunking the presence of spirits. As they say, things dont go as planned.”
Brian Grazer will produce and Kim Roth and Sarah Bowen will serve as executive producers for Imagine.
Letterman’s other credits include Shark Tale and Gulliver’s Travels.
