Twitch is reporting that Blake Lively (Green Lantern, “Gossip Girl”) has been offered the lead role in director Craig Gillespie’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. They stress that it is unknown whether she has accepted the role.
Natalie Portman is producing the Lionsgate release, based on the best-selling book written by Seth Grahame-Smith and Jane Austen.
Described as an expanded version of the Austen classic, the book tells the timeless story of a woman’s quest for love and independence amid the outbreak of a deadly virus that turns the undead into vicious killers.
