Logan Comic Book Page, Plus New Empire Cover

One of the most memorable scenes in the new Logan trailer showed Wolverine looking at actual in-world X-Men comics, and now none other than Marvel Entertainment CCO Joe Quesada has revealed he is the man behind the pages, and has posted several process pics of one of the several pages he executed for the film in a specifically ’90s style. Check out the Logan comic book page in the gallery below, along with the latest Empire cover featuring Hugh Jackman as Logan!

“It was a blast working closely with James Mangold on creating these pages (yes, there’s more than one) and thrilled to have been invited on the project,” said Quesada.

We also got a chance to watch the first 35 minutes of the film and interview director James Mangold. You can check the report and interview by clicking here.

Set in the near future, the film follows a weary Logan as he cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Starring Hugh Jackman, Sir Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Eriq La Salle, Stephen Merchant, Elise Neal and Elizabeth Rodriguez, Logan is coming to theaters on March 3, 2017. Directed by James Mangold and scripted by David James Kelly, the new film will mark the ninth (and said to be final) time that Jackman has played the Marvel Comics character on the big screen.
