Disney has been trying to get a Gargoyles project to fly for some time now.
The proposed film isn’t tied to the animated series or the made-for-television flick of the same name. Instead, this is a new property the Mouse House hopes to exploit across various platforms – film, television, video games, theme parks, etc.
That said, Variety reports Disney has hired writers David Elliot and Paul Lovett to pen a script. They’re the duo that gave us G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
Lauren Shuler Donner will produce. The film is being considered for live-action.
