In related news, Fandango tells us that the movie ticket service has already sold out more than 2,000 showtimes across the country. The company says it’s their fastest-selling title of the year so far. It represents 71% of daily total ticket sales on Fandango (followed by Transformers: Dark of the Moon, accounting for 14% of daily sales) and is outpacing each previous “Potter” film in ticket sales on Fandango at the same point in each film’s sales cycle.
