CS sits down with writer and director Ben Younger and his Bleed for This cast
While it may technically be a boxer biopic, this Friday’s Bleed for This is bound to surprise audiences with its unique approach to telling the true story of Vinny Paz. Miles Teller steps into the ring as Vinny with writer and director Ben Younger (Boiler Room, Prime) delivering his first feature film in more than a decade. CS sat down with Younger as well as Teller and the rest of the Bleed for This cast, including Aaron Eckhart and Katey Sagal. Check out the full conversation in the player below!

An Open Road Films release, Bleed for This tells the incredible true story of one of the most inspiring and unlikely comebacks in sports history. Vinny “The Pazmanian Devil” Pazienza, was a Providence boxer who shot to stardom after winning two world title fights. After a near-fatal car accident leaves Vinny with a broken neck, he is told he may never walk again. Against all odds and doctor’s orders, renowned trainer Kevin Rooney (Eckhart) agrees to help Vinny return to the ring just a year after the accident for what could be the last fight of his life.
The Bleed for This movie cast also includes Ted Levine, Ciaran Hinds, Jordan Gelber and Amanda Clayton. The film was produced by Younger with Bruce Cohen, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Chad Verdi and Noah Kraft with Martin Scorsese, Myles Nestel and Lisa Wilson as executive producers.
