Shin Godzilla, the 29th entry in Toho’s legendary Godzilla franchise, hits theaters on October 11th
North American kaiju fans are getting excited to lock their eyeballs on co‐directors Hideaki Anno (creator of Evangelion) and Shinji Higuchi’s (director of Toho’s 2015 Attack on Titan live-action movies) Shin Godzilla, the 29th Godzilla film produced by Toho and a brand-new chapter in the 62‐year history of this celebrated movie monster.
Released on these shores via Funimation Films, Shin Godzilla will roar into theaters for a limited engagement on October 11—18, screening in nearly 500 theaters across the U.S. and Canada. Advance tickets are available via the official movie website.
And if you’re in the New York area, a special Shin Godzilla presentation will be held at the New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 8 from 6 to 6:30 on the Javits Center’s Livestream Stage. Former Fangoria editor Tony Timpone, Justin Rojas (Senior Manager of Social Strategy and Development) and Paul Frugé II (Brand Manager) will discuss the film, show the trailer and clips and unveil an Earth-shattering exclusive scene from the blockbuster film.
