We’ve got our own interview with Immortals star and soon-to-be Superman Henry Cavill hitting shortly, but MTV News was also on-hand at this past weekend’s WonderCon in San Francisco and chatted with the star about the upcoming Zack Snyder film.
“I’m just picking out as much as I possibly can from the comic book history,” says Cavill of his research for the part so far, “because, obviously, it’s plastered across there as to who this man is and whatever part of his life you’re playing; whatever part of his ultimate journey you’re playing, you just need to put into either the building aspects, the building blocks to how he ends up. All those key characteristics that are carried through.”
Cavill, who has not yet had a chance to wear the Superman costume, has nevertheless already done a screentest with the recently-cast Amy Adams and says that the disparity between their ages in real life won’t really be a factor in the film itself.
You can watch the interview segment below! Check back soon for our own interview with Cavill and catch Immortals in theaters on November 11th.
