Sexy SPECIES sequels coming to Blu-ray.
While 1995’s ALIEN clone (complete with an H.R. Giger-designed creature) SPECIES did a brisk box-office and is well-regarded by many, for this writer’s pocket change, the SPECIES sequels are superior; weirder, wetter and – especially in the case of the second Peter Medak directed film -more sexually explicit.
Are they good movies? I don’t know. I don’t care! I love them!
So it’s nice to hear that the lovely lads and ladies and Scream Factory are unleashing Blu-ray edition of SPECIES II and a double feature presentation of SPECIES III & SPECIES: THE AWAKENING. All three of these grotty, sex and slime shockers are set to arrive on March 8, 2016.
