Giovanni Ribisi has joined the cast of MRC and Universal’s Ted, while Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis are in final negotiations to star.
“Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of comedy to the big screen for the first time as writer and director of Ted, the story of a grown man who must deal with his cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish and has never left his side since.
Seth MacFarlane will direct and produce the comedy. Scott Stuber is producing through his Universal based Stuber Pictures alongside MacFarlane and John Jacobs.
Alec Sulkin & Wellesley Wild wrote the script with MacFarlane.
Universal’s Senior Executive Vice President of Production, Peter
Cramer and Creative Executive Sara Scott will oversee the project for
the studio.
