Former Saturday Night Live cast member Nasim Pedrad has joined Ryan Murphys upcoming comedy-horror series, Scream Queens.
The elastic Pedrad joins Abigail Breslin, Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Jonas, Joe Manganiello, Keke Palmer and Emma Roberts in the series about murders on a college campus. American Horror Storys Murphy co-created Scream Queens with regular collaborators Brad Falchuck and Glee producer Ian Brennan. Brennan also produced/wrote the upcoming Cooties, which Pedrad is particularly funny in.
Scream Queens is expected to premiere on FOX next fall. Never forget its announcement came with a goofy quote from Murphy believing this would be the first project to combine horror and comedy. [Deadline]
