Comic legend Warren Ellis has teamed up with The Walking Dead‘s Gale Anne Hurd’s Valhalla to develop his first original series. In my opinion, he couldn’t be in better hands. In addition to that, UPC and IDW have optioned the comic Night Mary to develop as a live-action series as well as the kickstarter breakout hit Five Ghosts.
Night Mary concerns a 17-year-old female girl named Mary, who can enter the dreams of others. Her life is thrown into terrifying chaos when she enters the dreams of a serial killer.
Five Ghosts has adventurer Fabian Gray dealing with being able to summon the power of five ghosts. At this point, the ghosts remain unnamed, but traits allude to them being Merlin The Wizard, Robin Hood The Archer, Musashi The Samurai, Sherlock Holmes The Detective ,and Dracula the Vampire.
It’s obviously early in the game but this is an exciting roster so far and I look forward to it’s development.
