Warner Bros. appears set to develop Harker, a new take on Bram Stoker’s “Dracula,” to be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Unknown, Orphan). The news first broke at Badass Digest and now has a few additional details courtesy of Deadline.
The script, a spec from Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy (currently working on Pendragon), is said to relocate Stoker’s tale to England where Jonathan Harker is tracking the monster on behalf of Scotland Yard.
Though Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the producers, he is not said to be involved in an acting capacity.
