Paul Dano has joined the cast of Another Night (Previously Another Night in Suck City), reports Variety.
Based on the novel, “Another Bullsh*t Night in Suck City” by Nick Flynn, the film is set to star Robert De Niro as a homeless man that Dano’s character, an aspiring writer, happens upon in a homeless shelter and soon learns is his long-lost father.
Paul Weitz (About a Boy, Little Fockers) will direct the film, marking his second project with De Niro. Dano, meanwhile, is best known for his critically acclaimed role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood. He next appears on the big screen in Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens.
