He’s tussled with the Queen Alien, Pumpkinhead and many other genre baddies, now, Lance Henriksen is going to face Hannibal Lecter. TV Line reports the acting vet will appear in NBC’s Hannibal series as a guest star for one episode. His role is being kept a secret for now.
Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy and Laurence Fishburne star in the series as Lecter, Will Graham and Jack Crawford, respectively. The pilot is directed by David Slade and the series is said to explore the early days of Lecter and the working relationship he had with FBI agent Will Graham before it turned sour.
We may see Hannibal debut before the end of this television season, however, it’s more likely we’ll see it debut this summer.
