Tom Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, best known for their acting and writing work on their television series “Reno 911!,” have signed on for the Summit Entertainment comedy The Wee McGinty.
The film is said feature a leprechaun who, suffering from amnesia, winds up joining a group of firefighters in Chicago. It is compared in the original article to The Bourne Identity with a leprechaun in the lead.
In addition to their work on on “Reno 911!,” Lennon and Garant are developing a new series for FX entitled “Alabama” and have had big screen writing success with Night at the Museum.
