Chris Evans, the man we have come to know as Captain America: The First Avenger, has been cast in the latest film from Bong Joon-ho, the director of The Host. The latter enlisted Evans for Snow Piercer.
Set against the backdrop of a new ice age, and based on the French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige,” the story follows a group of survivors who are on board a train. Destination: unknown.
Park Chan-wook penned the screenplay; his credits include Oldboy and the upcoming Stoker.
Snow Piercer is Joon-ho’s first American film and progress on this one will certainly be one to watch.
