Two bits of news worth mentioning this morning…
Bollywood is getting behind a zombie film entitled The Pollutant.
Described as an “environmental zombie film,” the project is being directed by Prakash Belawadi. Slumdog Millionaire‘s Arfi Lamba is set to co-star.
Elsewhere, Shekhar Kapur is set to direct London Fields, a murder mystery based on the novel by Martin Amis. THR says the story is “narrated by an American writer, Samson Young, living in London who has had writer’s block for 20 years and is now terminally ill while other main characters include a psychic woman, Nicola Six, who meets two men in a bar and senses that one of them will murder her on her 35th birthday.”
Kapur previously helmed Elizabeth and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
