Scripted by Hatchet‘s Adam Green
It’s looking like MGM will be picking up Killer Pizza, the script Adam Green penned based on the novel by Greg Taylor.
The film follows a teen who takes a gig at the eponymous pizza delivery joint which is really a cover for a monster hunting organization.
CJ Entertainment and Chris Columbus’ 1492 Entertainment will produce with Rafaella De Laurentiis.
Green was first attached to the property in early 2010. Columbus brought Green’s script to the studio which, according to Deadline, was looking for “Gremlins and Goonies-type fare.”
Green, who directed Frozen and the Hatchet films, has a segment in the upcoming Chillerama, hitting DVD later this month.
