Last week, a title landed on the tracking boards called Grim Night.
When we picked up on it, it was merely an unsold pitch – something we do not report on until it is sold, that’s when it’s hard news to us. What was worth noting about the pitch is that it had Bryan Bertino, director of The Strangers, attached.
Today, Universal bought the pitch which concerns one night out of the year in which everyone around the world locks themselves indoors and fights of “Grims” (Death, anyone?).
Brandon Bestenheider and Allen Bey penned the script. Bertino will produce. Here is the pitch trailer they went out with.
