Horror on the highway
The found footage sub-genre isn’t over by a long stretch. Here’s the trailer for Amber Alert, a new film that doesn’t have distribution yet but is getting shilled by Deadline in anticipation of its exposure at the American Film Market. Kerry Bellessa makes her directorial debut with this film which tells of a group of friends who identify a car involved in an Amber Alert. As usual, things get crazy from there. Could be interesting, but ending your trailer on merely scream in an empty hallway doesn’t deliver the kick the preview needs.
