The big screen adaptation of King’s novel
Deadline reports Ben Affleck is the man Warner Bros. has turned to for The Stand, another adaptation of Stephen King’s famous tome, except this time, it’s headed to the big screen.
Affleck is currently helming Argo, so The Stand movie is in its infancy. The actor has certainly proven himself in the director’s chair with Gone Baby Gone and The Town.
Back in August, David Yates was rumored to have been Warner Bros.’ choice for The Stand which had been previously adapted as a television mini-series.
