Part of the upcoming “essential” collection
Underworld fans! Sony is about to hit you with an Underworld Trilogy: The Essential Collection, scheduled to arrive on Blu-ray December 13, 2012.
This box set will include Underworld, Underworld: Evolution and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, and I presume it’s “essential” until Underworld Awakening opens on January 20 and you’ll just need to get a new collection later down the road with all four films.
If you’re a series die-hard fan not afraid of the ol’ “double dip,” you will be rewarded. Sony is packaging the three-part anime series Underworld: Endless War which is exclusive to the collection. You’ll find a trailer below along with package art. Full specs are right here.
