And Assault on Precinct 13
Over the weekend a lot of rich cinephiles were treated to something special. You see, Mondo Tees and the New Beverly Theater here in Los Angeles held a series of secret screenings. Tickets went on sale weeks ago for $65 a screening (six “mystery movies” were scheduled). What that got you was a ticket and a Mondo-quality poster exclusive to the event.
Here are some of the posters that caught our interest: Assault on Precinct 13 (by Tyler Stout), Hellraiser (by Florian Bertmer), The Mist (by Daniel Danger) and 28 Days Later (by Charlie Adlard, illustrator of “The Walking Dead”).
