Tancharoen gets his feature film
When Kevin Tancharoen made a Mortal Kombat teaser some time ago, he created it with hopes to bring the property back to theaters.
Warner Bros. and New Line responded by giving him a web series gig which proved to be wildly popular. You’ll be able to find it on DVD November 8.
But Tancharoen’s journey isn’t ending there.
Warner Bros./New Line execs have ordered up a feature film with Tancharoen attached to direct and Oren Uziel (writer of Tancharoen’s original mini-movie) on scripting duties. At the time, we do not know what sort of story they’ll tell, but the tone will remain consistent with the original mini-movie and series.
