From the director of Night at the Museum comes…Frankenstein?
Maybe.
Deadline is reporting that Shawn Levy is in the running to direct the film for 20th Century Fox. This is the project that Max Landis penned and which we recently spilled some details about. This would be a step into darker territory for Levy who is known for lighter fare such as Date Night and Cheaper By the Dozen. He also has the Hugh Jackman-starring Real Steel on the way.
Frankenstein is one of two projects Levy is talking about doing at Fox. The other is Fantastic Voyage.
