“What if you have to pee while you’re on fire?”
Sony has revealed the trailer for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, the second film based on the comic that stars Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze. Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, of the Crank films, scripted and directed this entry, however, making for a different Ghost Rider experience this time around.
The film opens in theaters on February 17, 2012 in 2D and 3D.
Watch the preview below, or, in high-def RIGHT HERE. So far, looking good. A lot of daytime action featuring the Rider buzzing along and a closing shot that is a pisser.
The film sees Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Cage), hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil (Ciaran Hinds), who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the kid’s birthday.
