What does the future hold…
Alan Ball recently revealed that True Blood will be back for a fifth season, and so will he.
HBO has yet to confirm that it has renewed the popular vampire series, yet Ball said: “There will be an end for me at some point but I just closed a deal to do another season. I don’t have any desire to leave because I’m having more fun than I ever had in my life.”
Even though the series is enjoying its fourth season, story work has begun on season five and “new characters” are expected to come into play (Scott Foley’s role – to be seen at the end of season four – will be expanded).
Says, THR, Ball added that writers on the Anna Paquin-Stephen Moyer series were breaking stories for Season 5, including “how a vampire is made.”
