A directing vehicle for Robert Zemeckis
Legendary is high on monsters, man. Damn.
Pacific Rim (multiple monsters) is on the way. So is Godzilla (king of the monsters). Both from Legendary.
Now the company is embarking on Here There Be Monsters for Robert Zemeckis, a man who really needs to return to live-action filmmaking after Mars Needs Moms. Brian Helgeland will pen the script which is “a movie about Revolutionary War naval hero John Paul Jones – except with sea monsters,” says The Wrap.
