Issue one hits this December
When Dark Horse sent along a mysterious preview image of an upcoming comic book title, we guessed that it was an adaptation of Guillermo del Toro’s “Strain” trilogy.
Variety confirmed our suspicions, adding writer David Lapham (“Stray Bullets”) and artist Mike Huddleston are collaborating on the adaptation which will run for 24 issues beginning December 14. Del Toro is “executive producing.” Dark Horse will release digital version of the comic books on the day they are released, so iPad users rejoice.
More details to come out of Comic-Con this week, so stay tuned! And, look for the third book in the “Strain” series, “The Night Eternal,” to arrive in stores this October.
