He rides again…
Okay, you ready? We’re kicking off our on-site San Diego Comic-Con coverage a day early; things are already heating up, so to speak, because we’ve got your first look at three pieces of teaser art Sony has cooked up for next year’s Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, opening February 17, 2012.
This entry is directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank) and I think the skull imagery certainly reflects their attitude…and hopefully the film itself. Nicolas Cage, Ciaran Hinds, Violante Placido, Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth star.
The film sees Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Cage), hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil (Hinds), who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the kid’s birthday.
