Now shooting in Italy in 3D
Asia Argento just updated her Twitter followers with the following image: The actress standing alongside Thomas Kretschmann. “Dracula and Lucy,” she writes, indicating that work has begun on Dario Argento’s Dracula 3D.
Obviously, they’re not in costume, but the image confirms Kretschmann is indeed playing Dracula and this is the first time hearing Asia is playing Lucy and not Mina. They co-star with Marta Gastini and Ruger Hauer, who is playing Van Helsing.
Shooting will begin soon and, in another tweet from Asia, we have learned the film is being shot in 3D, not post-converted.
