The Scream vet’s return to the director’s chair
When David Arquette was attached to direct Glutton is March, I imagined a thriller in the vein of Feed (a highly underrated flick, in my mind).
Apparently, I found I was off the mark when I spoke to someone involved in the project recently and I swore not to divulge any plot details on Shock until the time was right.
Our own Alan Jones, who is at Cannes, Tweeted about Glutton. He wrote, “Best 2 sales pitches at Cannes so far: David Arquette’s Glutton, about a super-fat man saving his sister from death, and Frankenstein’s Army.”
We’ll uncover more about Glutton, which was written by Kenny Yakkel, soon. The film is expected to begin shooting in Canada this summer.
Glutton is Arquette’s return to the director’s chair following the slasher film The Tripper.
