Release date for John Cusack thriller
Relativity announced this afternoon that James McTeigue’s Edgar Allan Poe project, formerly known as The Raven and now untitled, will open on March 9, 2012.
The “Untitled Raven Project” stars John Cusack, Luke Evans, Alice Eve, Brendan Gleeson and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. The script was written by Ben Livingston and Hannah Shakespeare.
The film is a gritty thriller in which Edgar Allan Poe (Cusack) joins forces with a young Baltimore detective (Evans) to hunt down a mad serial killer whoâs using Poeâs own works as the basis in a string of brutal murders.
McTeigue’s previous credits include V for Vendetta.
