A new feature film will explore that question
Malice in Wonderland director Simon Fellows has been attached to an adaptation of Alan K. Barker’s novel “Dyatlov Pass.”
Set in Russia, the novel is the non-fictional account of what may have happened to nine hikers in the late-50s who disappeared. According to Wikipedia: “Investigators at the time determined that the hikers tore open their tent from within, departing barefoot in heavy snow. Though the corpses showed no signs of struggle, two victims had fractured skulls, two had broken ribs, and one was missing her tongue. According to sources, four of the victims’ clothing contained substantial levels of radiation.”
Andy Briggs will script the film.
