No, it’s not.
Reps at MGM assure us this is merely a rumor for now and that the studio’s priority projects are The Hobbit, Robocop and the new James Bond film.
If you’re just catching up, last week’s buzz concerned the CP redo, written by Don Mancini. Rumors said Universal and MGM had worked out the rights issues that were holding the reboot back.
Who knows? That part might be true. But for now, don’t get your hopes up.
Oh, and to address the rumors that Jeepers Creepers 3 is “secretly” shooting in Los Angeles. Again, no truth to that whatsoever.
