It’s a horror-heavy pilot season
Battlestar Galactica‘s Ron Moore is filling out the cast for his upcoming series 17th Precinct and he’s surrounding himself with friends.
James Callis, Jamie Bamber and Tricia Helfer (all Battlestar vets) are all set to star in the NBC pilot which focuses on a police force that focuses on the supernatural. Helfer will play a necromancer.
Lucy Griffiths, meanwhile, will star in another genre-heavy television pilot, Awakening. She’ll play one of two sisters who are at odds with one another during a zombie apocalypse.
The pilot is for the CW.
