George Clooney versus the Wolfman?!
It appears the organizers behind the Saturn Awards – a yearly recognition of the best in sci-fi, horror and fantasy – have added “thriller” to the Best Horror category, broadening the scope of who has been nominated this year.
Yes, the nominations are out. And up for the “Best Horror/Thriller” award you’ve got: Kick-Ass sitting alongside Let Me In. Black Swan, The Wolf Man, The American and Shutter Island.
This is probably the only awards ceremony where you might see a George Clooney film vying for an award next to The Wolf Man.
Weird.
Kodi Smit-McPhee and Chloe Moretz are vying for Best Performance By a Younger Actor for their respective turns in Let Me In. Meanwhile, The Walking Dead is up for Best Television Presentation.
