A camping excursion goes awry in the Catskills
Vicart Entertainment has announced that Another Kind, a psychological science-fiction thriller, written and directed by 28 year-old Jonathan Blitstein (Let Them Chirp Awhile), wrapped shooting earlier this month in the Catskill Mountains.
The film is part of Vicart’s new “micro-budget film slate” developing the new work of up and coming writers and directors.
Another Kind follows four unprepared hikers from New York City on a winter camping expedition in the Catskills. Their adventure soon turns sour when they encounter mysterious forces in the woods. Newcomers Jamie Law, Nate Miller, Laura Ramadei and Patrick Woodall star.
Vicart is planning to roll the film out on the festival circuit before a theatrical run.
