A new release date in 2012
Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie is being reshuffled to an October 5, 2012 debut.
Walt Disney made the announcement today.
The feature adaptation of Burton’s short film was originally slated for March 9, 2012. The studio, instead, plugged its long-mooted John Carter of Mars sci-fi adventure into that space instead.
Frankenweenie will feature the vocal work of Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara. John August penned the script.
