Thanks to 24fps, the first cats to spot this story, news outlets today are buzzing about Primary Zone.
The film, budgeted at roughly $15 million (in U.S. cash), tells of scientists searching for a mythical Bigfoot-like creature (the Yeren) in the Hubei Province.
Right now, it’s being described as being Avatar-like, so do they plan to create an entire landscape digitally? Or is that to imply the 3D – which the film will be presented in – is going to be amazing?
I’m sure this isn’t the last we’ve heard of this film.
